Rivers dangers all out dimness as adolescents shut down Afam Plant, request free 24-hour power flexibly


Streams State is currently in danger of all out obscurity after young people of Afam in Oyigbo Local Government Area of the state shut down the Afam Power Plant.

The adolescents were said to have closed down the Afam Power Plant following disappointment of the transmitter, Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, PHED to give 24-hour power flexibly to the network.

This advancement was contained in an announcement marked by an authority of the organization, Chioma Aninwe, who expresses the whole Afam people group have wouldn’t take care of their tabs adding up to billions of naira are requesting 24-hour power flexibly.

The organization asked why Afam people group accepts 24-hour power gracefully to the network is a Corporate Social Responsibility of PHED.

Aninwe in the announcement says, “The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company,PHED got an upsetting report at about 21:04 pm the previous evening, that some gathering of people known as Oyigbo Youth had closed down Afam Transmission lines consequently tossing the whole Port Harcourt and in fact Rivers State into obscurity.

“As indicated by the report, this revolting episode which has become the thing to address is because of acclaimed lacking force gracefully to their region by Oyigbo adolescents.
